Pros:Good, friendly city, and the campus is not spread out.
Cons:-Poorly structured course -No direction or instruction First year, I did a chemical maths module, and the lecturer was getting basic maths wrong. Fair enough, we could figure it out ourselves we though, but oh no... We were given "dry labs" in which we were assessed on material we weren't even taught yet. I though this might have been a first year fluke, but no. The entire course was full of inconsistencies and a distinct lack of organisation- it is ok for the faculty, they have their custy tenure. They don't care. Second year, same thing, another dry lab that was absolutely ridiculous. They simply handed out assignments without actually teaching us. And this is not to mention the poor quality of the lecturers. I could name one or two lecturers who are decent and that is it over the entire course. People are openly cheating to get by and nothing is done, and the honest folk like me get zero help. And come exam period, ever single computer on the campus is taken- the library is like a zoo. Another red-brick university that has their crania so far up their recta they are basically drinking stomach acid. Shocking quality. 3 years of my life wasted, learned nothing. Do not waste your time. It has seriously made me think that university in general might be a ponzi scheme entirely.
